Josh and I have the opportunity to host Janet Anderson, director of the Minot Public library. We discuss a handful of fun local happenings - including MSU Summer Theater and Bacon & Brew at the Zoo, and show some love for the Spot which is located on central avenue downtown. As Minot's only pool hall, the Spot hosts an amazing variety of competitive pool tournaments and bag toss events, find them on facebook and continue supporting locally owned businesses.
As director of Minot Public Library Janet brings a wealth of
information highlighting an impressive variety of services
available to the public. We quickly learn there is more than meets
the eye at the Minot Public Library. It is a full fledged
information center providing SO much more than books. Free adult
learning classes throughout the technology world, children and teen
activities, free meeting spaces, professional cameras available to
check out, video game/movie rentals, the first digital maker space
in ND, and more. This is an essential episode of the Good Talk
Minot, please share with your friends and help our community
understand all Minot Public Library has to offer.
